Man I have already drafted one team, and working on our GSI Mock Draft now and just three weeks away from my auction - FANTASY FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!!!
With that in mind I welcome you to our NEW blog format. We no longer offer premium content or run leagues as we are also focused on our two high school sports websites that are blowing up - TriStateFootball.com and QueenCityHigh.com. However, you can still get FREE daily takes, player rankings, injury updates, line-up advice, live chats and podcasts on GetSportsInfo.com all season long!
Here are some other notes...
--FANTASY PLAYBOOK (podcast) - The weekly podcast is already been running for about a month now on GetSportsRadio.com and BlogTalk Radio. Once the season begins we will choose a set day and time.
--FANTASY PLAYBOOK (1530 Homer the Sports Animal) - This will be my seventh season to appear on with Lance McAlister. However, with recent changes at Clear Channel and Lance bouncing around the dial, I will not be on a set time each week. Right now we have four pre-season segments scheduled: WED 8/5 (Fantasy 101/New Faces, New Places); THUR 8/13 (Running Backs); FRI 8/21 (Quarterbacks); FRI 8/28 (Wide Receivers). All segments will air at 3:45 p.m. We will not be taking calls during the segments either. At this point it is unclear how a regular-season segment will work or if we will even have one. I will keep you posted.
--LIVE CHATS - I will be doing a weekly LIVE chat during the season, but I have not decided what day/time. I will also host a couple preseason LIVE CHATS with the first one being the first LIVE CHAT THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT FROM 7-8 PM.
--FOLLOW GSI ON TWITTER - We are going to be Tweeting fantasy takes and news to our Twitter page - twitter.com/getsportinfo. We are just starting it up, so there isn't much there yet but it is only a matter of time.
--CHEAT SHEET - The first edition player rankings are now ready. I will update weekly once the preseason gets rolling.
--GSI MOCK DRAFT - Don't miss the latest picks from the GSI Mock Draft. I offer round-by-round analysis and owners chime in with their perspective.
