The Reds have the right to bear (weak and inaccurate) arms

7. January 2008  - Published by Adam Bartel
Hardball Times has posted their yearly rankings of the best outfield arms in baseball.  Two of the three Reds' regular starting outfielders (Ken Griffey Jr. and Adam Dunn) are ranked as possessing two of the worst corner outfield arms in baseball.  The player they have listed as the Reds' regular center fielder, Ryan Freel, is well above average, but he's not expected to be the starter this year (and the status of his body and/or head are still slightly questionable).  Not really making any point, just throwing the data out there, make of it what you will.

Good thing we let Josh Hamilton go. The Reds' outfield is terrible. Griffey Jr. is not too bad in right. Still, the center field slot is shaky and Adam Dunn is one of the biggest liabilities in all of baseball.
