OJ Simpson was found guilty on 12 charges stemming from an armed robbery he led in a Vegas hotel room. His sentencing is December 5, but it's likely that the Juice will do serious time. If he's sentenced fully (and there's no reason to think that he won't be), he can do up to 30 years in prison. Simpson is currently behind bars.
While these charges and the whole story behind seem soap opera like, it's justice finally for the years that he's been walking around a free man, after being acquitted by the dumbest jury in the world for the murder of his ex-wife and her companion.
This Heisman-winning and NFL Hall of Fame running back had such a great life. Winning the Heisman at USC, going onto greatness with the Buffalo Bills in a Hall of Fame career and even starring in films and commercials. He had it all. However, many people believe (myself included) that OJ did in fact murder his ex-wife Nicole and Ron Goldman. It was deemed the trial of the century. I will always remember the trial and always remember the slow highway chase in his white Bronco.
I couldn't believe someone that had it all would fall like this. Then when he was acquitted, I couldn't believe that he was going to get away with murder. His brazen and arrogant attitude was an insult to the victims and their families. I'm sure those people are laughing last now, that OJ has learned, that eventually there's consequences for your actions. Perhaps years behind bars will make OJ repent for all his crimes.
