The Cincinnati Bearcats showed that this year may be different. Super frosh Lance Stephenson made two free throws in the waning seconds to lock down a 71-69 victory over ninth-ranked Connecticut, UC's first-ever victory over the Huskies.

It was a measuring-up game for Cincinnati, which expects to hold its own in the Big East and get back to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005, when Bob Huggins was still the head coach.
