Now that I have released my initial 2010 fantasy football rankings, the GSI CHEAT SHEET, I can start to access each position a bit more carefully.

The wide receiver position is one of the toughest to figure out.
Texans’ wideout Andre Johnson is clearly fantasy’s top player at the position, but after that things get a bit cloudier.
My next five (in order) are Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, and Reggie Wayne. All can be argued as who is the No. 2 receiver, but each of them has baggage or slight areas of concern.
There are others that fall after them that could easily be a top five wideout (i.e. Miles Austin, who I started at No. 10 as apparently I am the only one that still wants to see more), but I am going with the safe picks.
While Johnson is a first-rounder in nearly every format, my next five or tier two should fall in Rounds 2-3.
The next five on my list all have upside, but don’t offer the weekly consistency of those above them.
Once you get to No. 15 on the Cheat Sheet is becomes more a crap shoot. Sure there are still going to be some great producers left on the board, but the likelihood to pick a bust candidate increases greatly.
MY STRATEGY: With great depth at running back and quarterback, I will attempt to secure two top 15 wideouts in each of my leagues. From there I fill my roster with guys between spots 35-60 on my board, favoring younger players with more upside over aging veterans.
