Office Pools Picks: Week 17

30. December 2011  - Published by Dan Clasgens

It was a mixed bag of results in Week 16. I managed to go 10-5 in the confidence pool with my straigh-up picks and my Surivor pick of the Ravens stayed alive. However, Baltimore failed to cover and cost me my parlay. I did nail my top play for the fifth straigh week though and was 3-2 ATS overall. Here are my final picks of 2011:

CONFIDENCE POOL
SURVIVOR PICK
AGAINST SPREAD

16 49ers at STL
15 Patriots vs BUF
14 Falcons vs TB
13 Steelers at CLE
12 Jaguars vs IND
11 Jets at MIA
10 Eagles vs WAS
09 Texans vs TEN
08 Packers vs DET
07 Raiders vs SD
06 Vikings vs CHI
05 Seahawks at ARZ
04 Giants vs DAL
03 Bengals vs BAL
02 Panthers at NO
01 Chiefs at DEN

Year-to-date: 131-81 (0.618 winning percentage)

MY PICK: FALCONS - They may not have much to gain, but the 5 seed is still better than the sixth spot. The Bucs are terrible and going on the road does not help their chances.

OUT ON A LIMB: JAGUARS - With the No. 1 pick waiting in the balance it is easy to see why Colts' fans are rooting against their team. Indy will try to win, but they haven't done that on the road all season and won't do it here.

Season Starting Balance: $500
Balance Heading Into Week: $470

$110 Panthers +8

$55 Bengals +2.5

$20 3-Team Parlay
Jaguars -3.5
Texans +2.5
Over 45.5 WAS/PHI
