Every year I get people that ask me questions about how to implement IDP formats in their fantasy leagues.
I for one have become a big fan of recent years. It adds more dynamics to fantasy football and brings something that using a team defense can never offer.
There are several different scoring methods that are used, but here’s one that I have used for the past few years that seems to work:

BFTD - Blocked Field Goal Touchdown (ID/ST/DST) = 6 points
BPTD - Blocked Punt Touchdown (ID/ST/DST) = 6 points
DFR - Defensive/ST Fumble Recovered (ID/DT/DST) = 2.5 points
DFRTD - Defensive Fumble Recovery TD (ID/DT/DST) = 6 points
FF - Forced Fumble = 2.5 points
Int - Interceptions = 5 points
IntTD - Interception TD = 6 points
KRTD - Kick Return TD (ID/ST/DST) = 6 points
PDef - Pass Defensed (ID only) = 1 point
PRTD - Punt Return TD (ID/ST/DST) = 6 points
SACK - Sack = 4 points
SFRTD - Special Team Fumble Recovery for TD = 6 points
STY - Safety = 2 points
TK - Tackle (ID/DT/DST) = 1 point
ASSISTS – Assists = 0.5 point
