Office Pool Picks: Week 2

14. September 2012  - Published by Dan Clasgens

It wasn't the best of starts in WEEK 1, but hey I was just happy to have football back. I only managed to go 9-6 in my confidence pool picks, but I did get both of my Survivor selections by with the Bears and Vikings both winning. Against the spread was terrible as I lost all three bets (1-4 overall):

CONFIDENCE POOL
SURVIVOR PICK
AGAINST SPREAD

16 Patriots vs ARZ
15 Steelers vs NYJ
14 Texans at JCK
13 Chargers vs TEN
12 Bengals vs CLE
11 Giants vs TB
10 Redskins at STL
09 49ers vs DET
08 Packers vs CHI
07 Eagles vs BAL
06 Saints at CAR
05 Colts vs MIN
04 Falcons vs DEN
03 Seahawks vs DAL
02 Raiders at MIA
01 Bills vs KC

Year-to-date: 9-6 (0.600 winning percentage)

Y PICK: PATRIOTS - This is a rare week where I am putting all my eggs in one basket in all of my Eliminator pools out there. The Pats are the ONLY game on the card that appears to be a near lock.

OUT ON A LIMB: BENGALS - As bad as they looked in Monday night's loss to the Ravens, the Bengals should rebound nicely at home against the lowly Browns.

Season Starting Balance: $500
Balance Heading Into Week: $305

$110 Lions +7

$55 Over 48 ATL/DEN

$30 3-Team Parlay
--Bengals -7

--Steelers -5
--Seahawks +3.5
