Office Pool Picks: Week 3

22. September 2012  - Published by Dan Clasgens

The good news is that I went 12-3 straight up WEEK 2, the bad news was the Patriots, my 16-point play in my confidence pool and my survivor pick, loss to the Cardinals. My out on the limb pick of the Bengals worked out, I just which I would've used it. I only managed to go 9-6 in my confidence pool picks, but I did get both of my Survivor selections by with the Bears and Vikings both winning. Against the spread was was better than my 1-4 open. I lost my big bet of the Lions by a point, and pushed on the Over 48 pick, but did hit hit my 3-team parlay to get some money back (pushed 1/cashed 2):

CONFIDENCE POOL
SURVIVOR PICK
AGAINST SPREAD

15 Saints vs KC
14 Cowboys vs TB
13 49ers at MIN
12 Packers at SEA
11 Bears vs STL
10 Redskins vs CIN
09 Ravens vs NE
08 Texans at DEN
07 Steelers at OAK
06 Cardinals vs PHI
05 Lions at TEN
04 Chargers vs ATL
03 Browns vs BUF
02 Colts vs JCK
01 Dolphins vs NYJ

Year-to-date: 21-9 (0.700 winning percentage)

MY PICK: SAINTS - I just can't see New Orleans falling to 0-3 period. Much less at home to the Chiefs that have been lit up like camp fire the past two weeks by the Falcons and Bills.

OUT ON A LIMB: REDSKINS - My out on the limb pick this week is going against my out on the limb pick last week. The Redskins home opener is going to provide a tough enviroment for a struggling Bengals' defesne.

Season Starting Balance: $500
Balance Heading Into Week: $262

$110 Redskins -3

$55 Under 45 GB/SEA

$30 3-Team Parlay
--Browns +3

--Colts -3
--Over 53 KC/NO
