Office Pool Picks: Week 7

20. October 2012  - Published by Dan Clasgens

What happened in WEEK 6 is something I like to soon forget. I went 5-9 in the Confidence as none of the teams I took chances on paid off. I squeaked by with my Falcons pick in Survivor thankfully, but the 49ers apparently were too far out on a limb vs. the Giants. I took a beating going against the spread again this week posting a 2-3 overall mark, but only hitting one bet.

CONFIDENCE POOL
SURVIVOR PICK
AGAINST SPREAD

13 Raiders vs JCK
12 Patriots vs NYJ
11 Vikings vs ARZ
10 Bears vs DET
09 49ers vs SEA
08 Texans vs BAL
07 Packers at STL
06 Giants vs WAS
05 Saints at TB
04 Steelers at CIN
03 Bills vs TEN
02 Panthers vs DAL
01 Browns at CLE

Year-to-date: 55-32 (0.632 winning percentage)

MY PICK: FALCONS - New England already cost me my life in two Survivor pools this year, but I'm guessing most still alive can use them. The Jets looked last week vs. the Colts at home, but that will change on the road against a much-better Patriots team with first place on the line.

OUT ON A LIMB: RAIDERS - I am convinced the Jags are the worst team in the league and even though they've had two weeks to game plan, the Raiders have too many weapons for them to keep pace with.

Season Starting Balance: $500
Balance Heading Into Week: $142

$110 Redskins +7

$55 Panthers +2.5

$55 Browns +1.5
