College Football Fantasy Focus

It's November, the weather is cold, which means it's crunch time in college football. And it's likely crunch time in your NCAA fantasy league too. Make the best decisions. Here are some good matchups to exploit.

QB
Braxton Miller, Ohio State
- He played last week, despite sustaining an ugly injury the previous week against Purdue. On the schedule is Illinois, a matchup that Miller will exploit. OSU head coach Urban Meyer is trying to talk up Miller for the Heisman, so expect a heavy dose of Miller time this weekend. 30+ fantasy points is highly likely and Miller is a must-start.

Ryan Nassib, Syracuse - Quietly Nassib has put up some good fantasy numbers in Big East play. Nassib faces Cincinnati this week who allowed Teddy Bridgewater to do well last week. Nassib has put up 20+ fantasy points over his last three weeks, and he will make it a fourth this week.

RB
Ka'Deem Carey, Arizon
a - If you have Carey, you're likely starting him, and there's no way he's on your waiver wire. But nevertheless, Carey has a favorable matchup and will run his streak of 100+ yards and at least one TD, to five straight this week versus UCLA.

Ladarius Perkins, Miss St. - He had a rotten week last week against Alabma. Chalk that up to a tough Crimson Tide defense. This week the opponent is much easier in Texas A&M and look for Perkins to get back to being a 100 yard rusher and find the end zone (which he's done 3 of the last 4 weeks).

WR
Jordan Matthews, Vanderbilt
- It's always good when you get Kentucky on the schedule. That's wht Matthews and the Commodores get this week. Look for Matthews to put up big numbers against the Wildcats.

DeAndre Hopkins, Clemson - Last week I called my shot with a big game from Clemson QB Tajh Boyd. Hopkins was the benefactor. This week, at Duke, Clemson should roll again with Hopkins grabbing plenty of catches and finding the end zone.

TE
Tyler Eifert, Notre Dame
- The Fighting Irish are rolling and Eifert is part of that equation. With an easy opponent like Pittsburgh on the schedule, look for Eifert to get back on track. Expect 4-5 catches and about 70 yards this week, and maybe a score.

Blake Jackson, Oklahoma State - Here's someone who could be found on your waiver wire. Jackson has a great matchup against Kansas State, in what could be a shootout. That translates to nice numbers for the Oklahoma State tight end.
