Office Pool Picks: Week 8

27. October 2012  - Published by Dan Clasgens

Things look a little better for me in WEEK 7 as I went 10-3 in my confidence pool picks, missing only my No. 1, 2, and 3 game. Both Survivor picks (NE, OAK) made me sweat things out, but they each won in the end. I came close in all three of my games ATS, but still only hit one of three bets. It's time to turn the page to this week's games.

CONFIDENCE POOL
SURVIVOR PICK
AGAINST SPREAD

13 Packers vs JCK
12 Bears vs CAR
11 Broncos vs NO
10 Lions vs SEA
09 Steelers vs WAS
08 Patriots at STL
07 49ers at ARZ
06 Titans vs IND
05 Giants at DAL
04 Chiefs vs OAK
03 Jets vs MIA
02 Chargers at CLE
01 Eagles vs ATL

Year-to-date: 65-35 (0.650 winning percentage)

MY PICK: PACKERS - Green Bay is a bit banged up, but so too are the Jagaurs. I would like the Packers if the game were in Jacksonville by at least a TD and love them even more at Lambeau.

OUT ON A LIMB: BEARS - Any time you take the Bears or a team coming off an emotional win in a short week. It's nerve wracking, but the Panthers look terrible right now and Chicaog's D is going to cause havoc for Cam Newton.

Season Starting Balance: $500
Balance Heading Into Week: $132

$110 Giants -2

$55 Under 42.5 DET/SEA

$55 Over 54 DEN/NO
